May 15, 2008. In the conference hall of Federal Fund of Obligatory Medical Insurance (FFOMS) met representatives of 26 AIPM member-companies. Similar meetings have already been scheduled and held within the framework of cooperation agreement signed in 2007 between the AIPM and FFOMS.

It should be stressed that effective cooperation and mutual support of FFOMS and AIPM was aimed at preventing disruptions in the provision of medicines of certain categories of citizens last year.

 At the meeting the head of FFOMS D. Reyhart informed of the dates and amounts of supply actually set in 2007 of medicines for certain categories of citizens eligible for state social assistance.

The aggregate value of issued and actually released in 2007 medicines on the program amounted to 51.5 billion DLO rubles.

The basic parameters and sources of the necessary financial resources needed to complete the calculations for the allotted medicines have been identified in advance.

Currently, the process of finalizing the calculations carried out in planning mode, the use of necessary funds established by Decree of the Government of Russian Federation

Thus, until the end of June this year FFOMS finalizes settlements with the subjects of the Russian Federation for actually released in 2007 medicines for certain categories of citizens.

The head of AIPM V. Shipkov noted that "among members of the association has always existed a full understanding, trust, solidarity and support FFOMS for optimization funding of such essential public social program as DLO.”

In conclusion, the head of FOMS handed to V. Shipkov FFOMS gratitude for the effective cooperation on DLO program.
